2D Flash version of Portal

Back when Portal came out, this great 2D Flash version of Portal was released free-to-play online. It's a lot of fun, and has over 40 great levels of Portal puzzles.

Dark Void Zero

Capcom created a Metroid-style "prequel" to their next-gen game Dark Void, called Dark Void Zero. It is a 2D jetpack shooter, complete with period box art. I haven't tried it yet, but the DSi version has a higher Game Ranking than the next-gen game. It's available on DSi, iPhone and PC.

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World

The new movie Scott Pilgrim Vs the World (based on Bryan Lee O'Malley's comics of the same name) is full of old-school gaming goodness. But in addition to that, UbiSoft is releasing a 4-person co-op beat-em-up in the style of Capcom's arcade classics or River City Ransom. It's being released for PSN in August and shortly after for XBLA.

Expendables movie 8-bit experience!

The new action movie Expendables has created an awesome new Contra-style 8-bit game. The only drawback is that it's only available on Facebook, and you have to "like" it and allow to to access for your info to play it.
